Forever Foster...
Lilly and Millicent are Wags Rescue forever fosters because of their unique medical situations. Lilly is an approximately five year old Pomeranian mix. She came to Wags four years ago, and shortly after her arrival it was apparent that she had several medical conditions that required a lot of special care. Because of her fragile condition which includes a very underdeveloped esophagus and delicate digestive system that requires specialized feedings with a prescription diet, four luxating patellas, and overall low muscle tone it was determined it would be best if she remained a forever foster. Millicent is a Pomeranian who is fifteen years old and came to Wags three and a half years ago. She is blind, deaf, has a heart murmur, and a collapsed trachea, but we were hopeful that she would find a very special family that would look beyond her special needs and love and accept her for the precious little dog she is. After several years and a few unsuccessful attempts to find Millicent her forever family it was determined that it would be in her best interest to remain a forever foster so she could live her twilight years in a familiar home. In spite of their special needs, both Lilly and Millicent enjoy their daily routines, love to be loved, and give unconditional love in return. As their foster, I am so thankful to Wags for letting me care for these special and inspirational little ones, and I feel so blessed to have Lilly and Millicent as forever fosters. ❤️
