Taz is a sweet easy going boy.  He likes other dogs and is a big goof ball.  He has a freak accident a few months back but he has fully recovered.   He apparently slipped when he was hopping over the 4 foot fence around the pool at his fosters home and impaled himself on one of the aluminum posts.  Taz was a lucky boy and missed all his vital organs.  He is hoping to have another stroke of luck this year and that stoke of luck he is looking for is finding his forever home.  He would prefer a house without those black metal spike fences.  He has a little PTSD about them.

Interested in an oversized lap dog? Then you found me! My name is Taz, I am 3 years old and  love sitting with my humans. Three weeks ago I came to Pennsylvania with my mom Daisy. Currently, I'm in a house with two other dogs but my hope is to be adopted with Daisy so we can be reunited. Although I spend my day on the sofa with my family, I never jump up on counter tops or the dinner table.  I am completely house trained, very quiet, and sleep well in my crate.

Taz has had a rough life before coming into rescue and that takes it toll sometimes.  Soon after Taz got into foster in PA he was observed to have head tremors.  He was seen by a vet and they say he has ideopathic head tremors.  As it has been explained to us, it is not painful, veterinary medicine does not no what causes them and there are no medications for it.  In layman's terms, Taz is just quirky sometimes.  We would like you to know that he is quirkily awesome!
