OMG!!! This little lady is a Sweetheart with a capital S!
Sophie Jude is a spayed 11 yr old chihuahua mix. She is mostly black with a little bit of gray around her snout and legs.
She is a happy little lady who greets you with a wagging tail and tapping feet, oh and her ears! Anyone remember "The Flying Nun" from the 1960's?
Her favorite place is under covers sitting near you or looking out the window keeping watch over the neighborhood. (She does bark when she sees other dogs walking by).
Sophie likes going outside for walks. She wasn't a fan of the snow we had her first weekend in PA but she was a trooper and enjoyed smelling other dog prints in the snow.
She's a bit of a door-dasher, so you need to make sure she's not going to scoot out the door. She is easily distracted when I give her some treats away from the door.
Sophie made the trip up from NC in mid January. Apparently, she lived with young kids in NC and she lived with other dogs and cats in her NC foster home. But of course, slow introduction with any family pet is recommended.
She appears to be house trained in her foster home with a regular routine. She does not need to be crated. She walks well on leash but I'm sure she would love a fenced yard as well.
She sleeps through the night mostly under the covers close to her person but she doesn't take up much room. Lol!
