Meeko's owner got him when he was 7 months old and has loved him for almost 8 years. Sadly, the house she rents was sold and the new landlord threatened eviction if Meeko was not "gotten rid of in 3 days". Meeko really loved his person a lot and is working hard on adjusting to a new way of life without her. He is a laid back kinda dog. He is reported to be a bit of an escape artist so he would require a secure fence and supervision outside. After a couple days in foster he is spending less time looking for his mom and is trying less often to go out on a search for her. His hunger strike has ended and he is now sleeping in people beds again. He is not 100 percent on his house training at his foster home yet and will require consistency and tolerance.
