Meet Coconut – a truly magnificent mutt with a gentle soul and a heart full of love just waiting to be shared.
Coconut is a male Schnauzer/Poodle mix (we think!) who came to us after being surrendered to a local shelter. Despite the bumps in his journey, he radiates a quiet joy and sweetness that’s impossible to resist. Though he may be a little shy when you first meet him, all he really needs is a moment—and maybe a soft word or two—before he’s ready to be your loyal shadow, happily trotting after you wherever you go.
He’s that perfect blend of gentle and silly, soft and smart. Once he opens up, Coconut shows his true colors: affectionate, curious, and eager to be part of the action. Whether it's a cozy nap nearby or a stroll around the block, he just wants to be with his person, soaking up the comfort of companionship.
Coconut is crate trained and making great progress on his house training—he’s a quick learner who thrives on positive attention and encouragement. He’s wonderfully sweet with everyone he meets, including other pups, and has a kind, sensitive nature that makes him a favorite with staff and volunteers.
With his scruffy charm and soulful eyes, Coconut is more than just a handsome face—he’s a devoted friend in the making, ready to follow you to the ends of the earth.
