Drake is a beautiful mix, both in breed - possibly hound/pointer - and coloring. Mostly chocolate with a beautiful patchwork of golden throughout and black and white speckled chest and toe tips makes Drake the most interesting dog in foster world.
Drake is a happy go lucky 1 year old pup about 45 lbs who loves to be around people. He follows and wants to be by your side, or in front of you – don’t trip. Give him a toy or bone and he’ll happily entertain himself. Throw a ball outside and he’ll toss it, pounce it and carry it while running circles around the yard.
He has not had much training in a crate or on leash, but is learning to adapt to both. He has been very good about doing his business outside and appears to be mostly house broken. Drake gets along well with the dogs he’s met so far. He was fostered for a couple of days with cats, which he pretty much ignored when he saw them. He is very playful so if an adopter has a dog, they would need to match his lively energy.
Drake is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations and monthly preventatives
