Radish is a handsome 15-week 25 lb. puppy.
Male - Heartworm negative.
Radish was abandon at a local food pantry. We don’t know the reason, but what we do know is he is a sweet , affectionate and playful puppy. He is looking forward to finding the right family that is willing to give him a chance.
Radish is a big boy; despite his size he is all puppy. He is still learning the rules of the house. Training Treats are a good motivator. He is doing well with basic commands such as Sit, Down, Come and NO!
We are working on leash training. Some days he likes to walk on the leash and other days he prefers to just carry the leash.
He uses a doggie door and will go out as needed through the Doggie Door. He has only had two accidents in the house, which was when the doggie door was locked. He does best with consistency and frequent breaks to go outside. He is crate trained and will sleep in the crate through the night. No potty accidents in his crate. If the crate is left open during the day he will lay in the crate when he is tired.
He loves all kinds of toys and will take every toy outside to play. He loves to chew Nyla bones, Kongs and Antlers. He is easily redirected if he is chewing something he should not.
Not a fan of baths but once in the tub will tolerate a bath.
Radish likes to play with kids of all sizes but should be supervised with toddlers due to his size.
He loves to be with humans that like to play and like to snuggle. He would be fine being an only dog as long as he gets lots of love and attention from his humans. He would also do well in a home with other dogs for companionship and guidance and to have a playmate.
