Meet Dan, a gentle silly soul with a huge heart. There isn't a time that his tail isn't wagging or butt isn't wiggling, he is one happy boy.
Dan is an 18-month-old Pitbull mix with the sweetest spirit and the softest eyes. After finding himself at animal control in Georgia, this brave boy made the journey to Pennsylvania in search of the loving home he's always deserved.
Dan may not have known what it meant to be part of a family before, but he's learning quickly—and absolutely thriving! He has excellent house manners but requires gentle reminds at times since after all he's new to all this. he's house-trained, crate-trained, and sleeps quietly through the night (though he won't turn down a good snuggle in bed if invited!).
Dan is still working on developing his leash skills and manners. Dan can struggle on outdoor walks due to nervousness and insecurities of new environments. Because of this, he'll do best with a confident, patient handler who can help him continue to build trust and confidence on walks.
Once Dan warms up, you'll discover the most loyal, loving companion who just wants to be near his people. He adores playing with his foster brother—zooming around the yard one minute and curling up together for a nap the next.
Dan's heart is as big as his potential. With a little time and love, he'll reward his forever family with endless devotion, gentle cuddles, and a lifetime of friendship.
