Chestnut is a lovable Great Dane mix with long, lanky legs he’s still figuring out how to use—often with endearingly clumsy results. This sweet boy didn’t have the easiest start in life. He was exposed to parvo early on (but stayed strong and never got sick—what a little fighter!) and came into rescue a bit behind. On top of that, he’s currently recovering from ringworm, but you’d never guess it from his bright spirit.
Now? Chestnut is absolutely thriving. He’s growing like a weed, getting stronger by the day, and well on his way to being as healthy as a horse. Every week brings new progress, and he’s soaking up all the love and care like he’s always deserved.
Chestnut is working hard on crate training and house manners, and he’s already showing what a smart, eager-to-please pup he is. He adores other dogs, loves every human he meets, and has fully convinced himself he’s a lap dog (despite those ever-growing legs). Whether he’s playing with toys, romping with friends, or snuggling up as close as possible, Chestnut is just a happy, joyful boy through and through.
