Rouge is a 1 year old Lab mix with a personality as big as her smile—she might be wearing a blue collar, but don’t let that fool you, she’s a girl through and through! If you want to laugh, play, and enjoy endless puppy shenanigans every single day, Rouge is your girl.
Rouge’s journey hasn’t been easy—she spent over half her life in a South Carolina shelter just because she’s a black dog, and she was even found tied to a tree around 5 months old. But since coming up North, she’s embraced life to the fullest! She’s discovered the joy of zoomies, loves running in circles around the backyard, and shows off her long legs with every playful sprint.
She sometimes run sideways because her legs go faster then her front, she also prances and gallops when she runs. If you want a dog that you can just watch and laugh Rouge is your girl. She loves life and other dogs but never learned how to play with them so she hurdles over them like a track star. You will need to be patient because this ball of goof never got to experience life like she should've so she's slowly learning manners and how to live in a house.
Her favorite pastime? Rope balls—she even throws them to herself in the air for fun! With her joyful energy, loving heart, and unstoppable zest for life, Rouge is ready to fill her forever home with laughter, love, and a little chaos (the good kind).
