Meet this distinguished gentleman: a one-year-old wire-haired Jack Russell Terrier with the heart of a hero and the brain of a decorative houseplant. He's sweet, loyal, and always thrilled to see you—whether you've been gone for eight hours or just blinked too slowly. His life philosophy is simple: if it moves, chase it; if it doesn't move, stare at it until it does (or until he forgets why he was looking at it in the first place). He approaches every day with the enthusiasm of someone who has absolutely no idea what's going on, but is very excited about it.

Fueled by pure chaos and boundless energy, he treats sticks like priceless treasures and toys like temporary suggestions. Fetch is less of a game and more of a loose concept—sometimes he brings it back, sometimes he just celebrates his victory lap and moves on. He's the kind of dog who will sprint full speed into a room and then immediately forget why he's there, but look proud about it anyway. Sweet, silly, and just a little bit clueless, he's living proof that you don't need brains when you've got this much personality.

 

Adam is a year old and weighs ~25 lbs. He's crate trained and housebroken in his current foster home, and is doing pretty well with leash walking. He likes to jump up to say hi (we're working on it), and loves dogs and people (cats are tolerated).
