Meet Hootenanny — a name that’s a little bit silly, a whole lot of fun, and absolutely perfect for this joyful little pup. This Lab/Shepherd mix baby girl is bursting with personality, puppy energy, and a heart ready to love big.
Hootenanny’s story began in an unlikely place — she and her siblings were discovered tucked inside a tree stump in North Carolina, making their own tiny world while waiting for a second chance. And now that she has it, she’s making the most of every moment.
She’s everything you’d hope for in a puppy and more. Hootenanny loves to play, run, and bounce her way through the day, especially when she has other dogs to share the fun with. She’s wonderfully social and thrives on interaction, whether it’s a game of chase or a playful wrestling match.
And when the zoomies wind down? She’s all about the cuddles. This sweet girl is just as happy snuggling up and soaking in affection as she is exploring the world.
Like any baby pup, Hootenanny is still in her “mouthy” phase — using her tiny teeth to investigate everything around her. With consistency, patience, and plenty of appropriate toys, she’ll learn what’s hers to chew and what’s not.
