Just like the beautiful flower she's named after, Calendula is a bright little ray of sunshine ready to bring happiness wherever she goes. This adorable girl is a Pit Bull mix—or as we prefer to call her, a Magnificent Mutt—with a sweet personality, a playful spirit, and a heart full of love.
Calendula is everything people adore about puppies. She's curious, affectionate, and always excited to see what adventure the day might bring. Whether she's greeting you with her happy tail wags or bouncing around looking for her next toy, this sweet girl has a way of making everyone around her smile.
Like any young puppy, Calendula is still learning the ropes. She's currently working on both her house training and crate training and is making progress every day. With patience, consistency, and plenty of encouragement, she'll continue growing into a wonderful lifelong companion.
One thing Calendula knows for sure is that she absolutely loves, loves, loves being outside! Exploring the yard, romping through the grass, chasing toys, and soaking up the sunshine are some of her favorite activities. She's always ready for playtime and would love a family that enjoys helping her burn off some puppy energy.
Calendula is also wonderfully dog-friendly and enjoys spending time with other canine companions. She loves making new friends and is happiest when she has someone to play with. Her social, easygoing personality makes her a great fit for a home with another playful dog or for a family looking for a puppy who enjoys being part of the fun.
As expected for a puppy her age, Calendula is currently in the famous "everything goes in my mouth" stage. Toys, sticks, blankets, and anything else she can find often become objects of investigation. Thankfully, this is all part of normal puppy development, and with plenty of appropriate chew toys and continued guidance, she'll learn the difference between what belongs in her mouth and what doesn't.
Beyond all the puppy antics, Calendula is an incredibly sweet and loving girl. She enjoys attention, loves being around her people, and has a gentle nature that makes her easy to fall in love with. Whether she's playing, exploring, or cuddling after a busy day, she brings joy everywhere she goes.
