Chema is a 4-year-old male chihuahua mix. The name is Spanish and is pronounced like Chia (and add the 'm').
He is a tiny little cuddle bug who just wants to be by your side, or under the blanket or on your lap.
Chema does well on leash and loves to walk around the neighborhood. He has also lived in a home with a fenced yard.
He has not had any accidents in the foster home. He's not thrilled about being in the crate, but his current foster crates him when at work.
Chema has lived with other dogs in the prior foster home but may be best as an only dog at this point. He didn't like the big dog and after a few weeks, was not fond of the other chihuahua either.
Chema loves playing with squeaky toys. He's a picky eater but loves soft dental stick treats.
