Hi, I’m Ace, a 41 lb. 5 month old Pittie mix. I was so sad and scared in my kennel in Georgia, but then I got my freedom ride to PA and have been living life in a foster home. I can honestly say that I am much happier now and love living in a home. I am enjoying typical puppy stuff - running in the backyard, playing with toys and with my fur friends in and out of the house. I’m a pretty quiet, low key guy, who is happy to just follow people around and snuggle up next to them. Foster mom says I’m doing really well going to the bathroom outside and sleeping in my crate. I’ve even learned to use the doggy door to go in and out. They also have bells on the door so I can ring them when I want to go out. I’m a quick learner.
I got to go on walks with foster mom and my fur friend and did pretty good. I am learning to walk nicely, stay close and not pull too hard. Being a young guy, it’s still a work in progress, but I always try to listen to my people. I’m getting good at “Sit” and waiting. I don’t jump up too much and am learning that feet on the ground is much more acceptable. I’ve met some young people and have been good with them too. I love to give people kisses and sometimes I might get a little mouthy but am learning that is not a good thing. I love getting treats and take them gently from your hand.
Ace is neutered, up-to-date on his vaccinations and on monthly heartworm and flea and tick preventatives. Please apply online at wagsrescue.org if you are interested in this adorable pup.
