Alexander Babar is an 8-month-old, 20 pound male beagle/hound mix looking for his forever home. He arrived here in June from NC with his litter mates. Alex is quite the affectionate little cutie. He has a little bit of black in his coat, a little bit of white, a little bit of brindle, and some speckles thrown in for good measure. He loves spending time outside playing with his doggie foster friends but also loves to come in and cool off. He loves toys of all kinds, and he loves being petted. After a nice play session, Alex is happy to crash for a while and snuggle. He loves to give kisses and even tries to hug your arm with his front paws. In his foster home, he lets us know when he needs to go out. Alex sleeps through the night in his crate and wakes ready to take on the day. If you'd like to meet him, please reach out to his friends at wagsrescue.org.

Much like the classic story of Babar, the Babar pups were rescued. Although they aren’t pachyderms, they are a pack of pups, looking to find furever homes where they are eager for new adventures. Alexander Babar is no exception. He’s a mixed breed six months old, fifteen pound pup of questionable descent, however he is suspected to be a medium to large dog when grown. He is vetted as age appropriate and has been working on his crate skills, house manners, and leash skills. He is excited to be available for adoption through Wags Rescue. Once the festivities are over, night has fallen and the stars have risen in the sky, Alexander Babar will be indeed very happy to have a home of his very own, with a family of his very own.
