Alf is about 14 weeks old and 18 pounds.

He is a very shy but adventurous pup. He was slow to trust humans but took to the foster furry friends right away.

If left to his own devices, his puppy curiousness takes over and he will explore his areas. (Alf spent the first day or so at the foster family’s house avoiding human contact - but when left alone he slowly started wanting to know about the family with the help of the 3 resident dogs.)

Alf’s forever family will need to be very understanding of his fearful behaviors. He will need to be allowed to approach on his terms and will need a fenced yard for bathroom breaks - he is not currently able to walk on the leash at this time due to his nervousness – but we are working on that!

Once he acclimated to his foster home, he has become very affectionate and playful – but nap time is his absolute favorite way to spend his days.

Alf is learning his crate training and is doing well as time progresses.

He is learning his housetraining and doing well as long as the humans at home pay attention to his ask to go out.

He is a very smart dog and very treat motivated. He has already learned sit and is working on No and Leave it.
If your heart is open to make Alf a part of your forever family, please contact WagsRescue.org and put in an application today!
