BB had a rough start in her life and did not get the vetting needed. She at the age of 9 was not spayed until she got into rescue and not spaying a female dog can lead to some unpleasant health issues. So when BB recently got spayed, she also had mammory tumors removed. Seven where removed and 6 of them where benign. One tumor was cancer, but the vet feels that they got good margins. BB's blood work is good and while life has no guarantees, the vet believes that BB can have a lovely rest of her life and is in good shape.
BB, is a lovely older girl and is excited to get her stitches out on Tuesday and have this all behind her. She wants to start looking for her forever people.
