Do you have a fenced yard and a dog that needs a friend to tire them out? Candy just might be your girl. Candy loves to play and to run around. She likes like minded dogs, who like to play full contact sports. Candy can be a bit mouth so needs a strong handler to remind her that people don't play that way. If you are willing to put in the work the Candy will be even sweeter!

Candy is about a 2 year old Pitt Mix. She weighs approximately 55 lbs and is a solid girl with somewhat shorter legs. Candy is a friendly girl and is good with other people and dogs. Candy has a very playful nature so any dog will need to be willing to play with the same level of exuberance she has. She loves toys and bones and will happily play with or chew them to entertain herself. Candy also loves to be by her people and will be your snuggle buddy.
Candy does well in a crate and seems to be housetrained with a consistent schedule. She is learning to take treats gently and is learning sit while waiting for a treat. She can be mouthy, which we are working on, so she would do better with older children. She seems to be doing well with leash walking. She loves zooming around the backyard and running after thrown balls. She doesn’t always bring them back but she loves the chase.
Candy hasn’t had a strong foundation learning social skills but is willing to learn. With a strong alpha person to guide her, she will overcome her past and become the dog she should be.
