BE ADVISED: Before you apply for this adorable 10 lb dog. She has lived her entire life in a puppy mill crate. She is not housetrained. She will poo in a crate and lay in it and smear it because she has spent the last 3 years of her life with no other option. She will require patience and love to overcome a lifetime of neglect. She is loving and will reward you for your patience. The following bio is from her foster mom.
This sweet little girl is Chloe Talbot. She came into rescue after years of living as a breeder mama at a puppy mill in Georgia. She is understandably timid and takes some time to trust. Chloe is especially cautious of men at this time. We are working hard to help her realize that she is safe now and that she can trust men again. She has become very comfortable with her female foster, and Chloe makes herself comfortable on her lap, where she would like to stay forever. This cute girl likes to be wherever her favorite person goes. Chloe is learning that she is deserving of all the love, kindness, and comfort that she was lacking for so long. She loves her doggie foster sisters who enjoy running with her in the yard. They're both helping to teach her how to be a dog. Also, Chloe is working to understand that her potty place is outside. After living in a crate for three years, this is a concept that is going to take time. She would do best in a quieter home where someone is home a good bit of the time. She is truly ten pounds of love who is looking for an understanding, compassionate person to show her unconditional love that she will surely return tenfold.
