Citrine came to PA from WV with her brother, Topaz, and has loved every minute of living outside of the shelter. She is guesstimated to be 6 months old, 35-40lb, some kind of hound mix (based on looks and her howl) and her signature move is, like her brother, wagging her little stub of a tail when she’s excited. Since she’s been in foster care, she doesn’t seem to be growing much more. While she sleeps well in the cage at night and nap times during the day, she loves her freedom running around the house, backyard and chasing her brother. Compared to Topaz, Citrine is definitely the more reserved, timid one of the two, but becoming more comfortable and learning to be more independent. In addition to her brother, she’s been living with two other small, resident dogs and doing well. She was recently spayed and has recovered well. All she has left in her journey is to find a home to call his own!
