Loid is a neutered male, estimated to be around 4 years old, and believed to be a pit mix with a striking handsome gray and white coat. He came to us from a shelter in South Carolina, and while his past wasn’t always kind, Loid carries his story with quiet strength. He does have a few scars from his rough start, but they do not define him — they simply remind us how far he’s come. What defines Loid now is his sweetness, his trust, and the bright future waiting ahead of him.
This boy is truly a large lap dog at heart. He loves closeness, affection, and being near his people, often forgetting just how big he is. Because of that, we recommend a home with older children who can enjoy his cuddly nature while helping reinforce good boundaries. Loid is wonderfully house trained and crate trained, making him an easy and comforting companion right from the start.
Loid is also eager to learn and loves having a job to do. He mastered “sit” quickly and is happily moving on to learning new commands, proving just how smart and willing he is. His gentle demeanor and desire to please make training a rewarding experience for everyone involved.
At the end of the day, Loid is simply a sweet, affectionate boy who wants to love and be loved in return. He’s ready for a home that will see beyond his past, appreciate his gentle heart, and give him the stability and kindness he’s always deserved. Only good things lie ahead for Loid — and he can’t wait to share them with his forever family.
