Hello, my name is Duke and I'm ready for adoption! I was raised in a family with children and lived with them for 7 years, but things changed and now I'm on my own. I'm affectionate and loving, and I'm quite friendly with other dogs and people. (Slow intros always recommended). I'm calm and gentle and I love young ones, but I'm a big boy at 80 pounds and my size makes me better suited to older or dog-savvy children. I'm often described as happy and playful, and a bit of a goofball! I start each day with extended stretches which my foster mom describes as "yoga poses" and I give sweet kisses good morning. I love to play outside, and my favorite toys are my rugby ball, my knotted rope and furry, squeaky toys (which I eventually dissect methodically). I LOVE TO EAT, so much that I gobble my food down too quickly, so I eat out of a"maze" bowl with lots of nooks and crannies to slow me down. I enjoy long walks and rides in the car, but my favorite place is with my people! I like pets and scratches and I love a good belly rub, but I'm also content to just lie by your side. I'm 100% potty trained. I'm crate trained as well, however, I do fine at home while my foster parents are at work so my crate door is always left open. I'm trained not to get up on counters, beds or furniture, but I enjoy lying on a soft rug or bath mat. I'm a good boy and I aim to please - I'll do my best to make a wonderful addition to my forever home! For more information, please contact Wags Rescue, Southampton, PA - Kennel License #5254
