Don’t let the fancy name fool you — Gewürztraminer (or "Gewürz" for short!) is as down-to-earth, sweet, and lovable as they come. This young female shepherd mix is currently blossoming in her foster home, and she’s proving to be the perfect mix of smart, sensitive, and downright adorable.
Originally from West Virginia, Gewürztraminer has already been through quite a bit in her short life. She bravely battled parvo as a young pup, but with some TLC and her own fighting spirit, she pulled through and is now doing absolutely wonderful. She’s healthy, thriving, and growing stronger each day — both physically and emotionally.
In true shepherd fashion, she’s a sensitive soul. Gewürz is incredibly loving and people-oriented, and she forms bonds quickly with those who show her kindness. She’s working hard on house and crate training and doing fabulously — she wants to be the good girl everyone keeps telling her she is! She’s bright, eager to please, and always looking for guidance and reassurance from her humans.
She’s also a social butterfly — she loves everyone she meets, both dogs and people. Gewürztraminer is looking for a forever home where she can continue to learn, grow, and love with her whole heart. She’s ready for a lifetime of snuggles, walks, and wagging tails — and she hopes her unique name is the only complicated thing about her.
