Hattie is a special dog with a broken heart of gold. With that being said she is beginning her journey to have her heart repaired. Let me share her story and believe me she has no idea that her heart isn’t working properly. She is a happy girl with a heart full of love.
She began her journey as a baby being given away in a store parking lot. Luckily Wags was able to take her with thoughts of finding her her forever family that would love and spoil her like she truly deserved.
Unfortunately we soon found out she has a heart murmur and was diagnosed with Pulmonary Stenosis. No worries, there is a plan. Hattie is going to have a Balloon Valvuloplasty and is already scheduled to see a specialist.
Hattie is thought to be a 8 month old lab mix female. She lives everyday with joy. She thinks everyone is her friend no matter if they are 2 or 4 legged. She loves to play fetch and playing with any toys she can get her mouth on. She loves cuddling on the couch and going for walks.
Not only has she thrived in her current foster home; she has blossomed. She follows her foster mom around like her shadow. This little girl was meant to live a long happy life and with a little bit of help we are going to make that happen.
Wags is now collecting donations to help her and others like her. Our hope is to mend Hattie’s heart. She is scheduled in the next few weeks for her consultation and then the plan is to have the Balloon Valvuloplasty
