This ridiculously named but ridiculously adorable shepherd mix puppy is already turning heads and stealing hearts. Himbeergeist (we promise he doesn’t mind if you give him a nickname!) is a young male pup who’s currently doing fabulously in his foster home, where he's learning what it means to be part of a loving family.
Originally from West Virginia, this sweet boy had a bit of a scary start—he was exposed to parvo as a baby—but he’s a resilient little guy and is now healthy, happy, and growing strong every day. His foster family can’t stop raving about how far he’s come!
Like a true shepherd, Himbeergeist is intelligent, loyal, and a little sensitive—he’s the kind of pup who forms deep bonds and thrives on connection. He’s currently working on his house and crate training and is doing great! He’s eager to learn, especially when there are treats or praise involved, and he’s already showing signs of being an amazing companion with just a little continued guidance.
He loves everyone—dogs, people, new friends, old friends... he’s just a happy, friendly pup looking for love wherever he can find it. With his goofy charm, gentle soul, and heart of gold, it’s hard not to fall for him—even if you can’t quite pronounce his name on the first try.
Himbeergeist is ready for his forever family: someone who will love him for who he is (silly name and all), help him continue to grow into the incredible dog he’s destined to be, and give him all the cuddles, adventures, and love he’s been waiting for.
