Hello! My name is Jersey and I am the sweetest little cutie pie around! I am a 4 month old hound mix and I currently weigh 22 pounds.
Jersey came up from Georgia with her 3 brothers on 8/11/2024. At her foster house, Jersey gets a long with her brother dog (Beach Bum), the resident dog, and the resident cats. There were no young kids at the foster home, but Jersey has shown in interest in getting to know everyone she meets and gives lots of kisses and hugs!
While the other dogs play together in the yard, Jersey often prefers to play with her human friends. She likes to play chase and fetch. When she does play with the other dogs, she will join in the chase and tumbling games they play. Inside Jersey likes to explore all the different types of toys; for the record, she hasn't found one she doesn't like! She likes stuffed animals, squeaky toys, chewy toys, balls, and everything in-between. When not playing, you can find Jersey cuddled up next to either her human or dog friends on the couch.
Jersey is crate trained. She gets sleepy at 9pm and will sleep in her crate until 7 or 8am. Although Jersey stays dry all night, she is still working on house training during the day. Like the toddler she is, she gets so busy playing with all her favorite toys and forgets to tell someone she has to go out.
