So Jozie (owner surrender) is in my home and getting used to things here. She is about 35 lbs, 5 years old and very sweet. She takes awhile to warm up to people because she is extremely shy. After being here for 4 days, I can say she's become my velcro pup though. In her former home, she lived with another dog and 2 very small children who she loved very much. It wasn't her fault that her family's circumstances drastically changed and she had to be rehomed. She is housetrained and hasn't needed to stay in a crate as she can be trusted to not be destructive. She walks nicely on a leash and loves to run around the yard. She hopes to win over my resident dog with her friendliness so they can chase each other. I admire her patience in this regard.
