Hey there! I'm July Talbot, and I'm a walking miracle! You see, I've spent the last 7 weeks on a healing journey after my former owner kicked me in the face and broke my jaw on both sides. Luckily, I ended up in rescue via Animal Aid in Georgia, and was then sent to Wags. No one knew what to do about my jaw; I could eat and drink but it hung loose and you bet it was painful! I went to the nice folks at Veterinary Dentistry Specialists and they removed a bunch of my teeth that had rotted since I couldn't close my mouth. Then they gave me a root canal, just like a human! Then I got a titanium plate and bone grafts to rebuild my jaw. I just had my stitches out and I'm healing up great! I can close my mouth and my tongue doesn't hang out all the time now (only sometimes lol). I'm grateful that Wags took care of me. Now all I need is the perfect family who will never mistreat me! They'll need to understand I will require some follow-ups annually with my special Dental Docs to make sure everything is working well.
