Lady Jane is a 1yr old, 50-ish lb gray Standard Poodle. She is housebroken and crate trained in her current foster home and walks well on a leash.
Lady came into rescue very matted, but she is the picture of perfection when it comes to being groomed. She loves the shower (and will also try to join when you take yours) and will stand to be brushed with a slicker brush. **Adopter must be prepared to brush her at least 3 days / week and be groomed every 6-8 weeks.**
Lady Jane is a little nervous and cautious until she is comfortable with you. She loves the 4 and 10yr old kids in her foster home but is a little nervous when they run around or play loud. Lady would really love a confident canine sibling to play with and continue bringing her out of her shell. Lady is normally calm in the house, but loves to run laps around the back yard. She has been resistant to learning "basic" commands (sit, down) with even the most high value treats, but recalls easily as she really loves to shadow her person.
