Lana was saved 2 days before her and her 7 friends were euthanized at a kill shelter in WV. They were owner surrenders which make them the first ones put to sleep for space and things are really crowded in shelters and rescues right now.
Lana had been living with lots of friends and when she got to PA, her first foster had no dog and Lana was scared and confused. Lana then went to another foster who found that River was her best friend in WV and River came to live at the same foster home. Lana cannot go to a home without another dog and she would highly recommend adopting her and her BFF River. They are both approximately 1 year old. Best breed guess is Shelti/Spaniel mix. Lana takes a little bit of time to warm up to her new people. Once she does she is super sweet and loving. She is even cuter in person than her photos.
