Lemon Talbot is NOT a lemon! She is a near-perfect petite hound mix who is dog-friendly, cat-tolerant, and a great walking buddy! She would be best categorized as "sweet tea," as there is nothing sour or salty about her!

Lemon is a year old and weighs about 25-30 lbs, and could stand to add a few more pounds. This sweet baby will jump for treats but hasn't yet mastered the SIT command (hounds, amirite? lol). Despite her lack of discipline when it comes to commands, Lemon will absolutely entertain you with her adorable zoomies and frolicking in the grass - this girl loves to play! But no squeaky toys please, they freak her out!

Lemon walks pretty well on leash and is getting better every day. Walks are definitely about checking pee-mail more than getting the heart rate up, but she can go the distance on a hike, too. A fenced yard is recommended since she has not shown any inclination to potty on leash. She comes home from her walk and then goes to her potty spot in the yard.

Lemon doesn't love the crate, but settles down after a little whining. She doesn't want to miss out on anything! She is trustworthy out of the crate but does have typical hound tendencies like occasional counter-surfing and shoe-nibbling. She is easily redirected and enjoys marrow bones and other appropriate chewing treats. She is probably a bit much for small children (she can be a little mouthy in play), but older/dog-savvy kids will enjoy her silly personality.

Lemon is a great dog who loves to please her humans, and would be a great addition to your family!
