Lindley is a beautiful, big-hearted girl with a glossy black coat and an even brighter personality. This spayed sweetheart is the definition of a happy dog—full of love, curiosity, and a growing sense of confidence as she discovers the world around her.
One of Lindley’s favorite things in life? Kisses. She absolutely adores giving them, and she won’t hesitate to shower her people with affection the moment she gets the chance. Despite her size (a lovable 75-pound “lap dog” in her own mind!), she just wants to be as close to you as possible, soaking up attention and giving it right back tenfold.
Lindley is still learning about the simple joys of being a dog, including what toys are—and watching her figure it all out is nothing short of heartwarming. Every new discovery is met with excitement and a wagging tail. She’s also doing wonderfully with both crate and house training, showing how eager she is to learn and make her people proud.
Her foster has taken the time to introduce her slowly to other dogs, and Lindley has done very well, showing she can be a friendly and respectful companion. Because of her size and her enthusiastic affection, she would do best in a home with older kids—not because there’s a single mean bone in her body, but simply because she doesn’t quite realize how big she is when she leans in for love.
She’s currently working on her leash walking skills and making steady progress, especially when treats are involved—because Lindley loves any and all treats! They’re the key to her heart (along with belly rubs and cuddle time).
Lindley is a joyful, affectionate, and gentle soul who is ready to find a forever home where she can continue to blossom. With her loving nature and playful spirit, she’s sure to bring warmth, laughter, and lots of kisses into the lucky home that welcomes her.
