Nacho is a 5-year-old Chihuahua with exactly the kind of personality you'd expect, sweet, spicy, and packed into a tiny body. He's full of charm, character, and just the right amount of sass that makes Chihuahuas so lovable. Nacho knows what he likes, loves his routines, and thrives when he's with "his person(people)." Once he bonds with you, he is incredibly loyal and affectionate, always wanting to be close—whether that's curled up next to you on the couch or following you from room to room or around the yard.
The last few months have been a big adjustment for Nacho. His world changed when he was given up/handed to caring person at a McDonald's in Philadelphia, and since then, he's been navigating a lot of new experiences. He now lives in a home with three large dogs, which has been a huge transition for a little guy like him. Through it all, Nacho has shown resilience and continues to open up more each day, but he would truly thrive in a more predictable, calm environment where he can feel secure again.
Nacho is looking for a home with someone who understands and appreciates small dog tendencies. He would do best with an owner who respects his personality, gives him time to settle in, and enjoys the quirks that come with a true Chihuahua companion. He's not just a dog—he's a little sidekick with a whole lot of love to give.
He absolutely loves attention and being doted on. Nacho enjoys being held, cuddled, and talked to, and he will happily soak up all the affection you're willing to give. He also loves going for walks and getting out to explore the world at his own pace—it's one of his favorite ways to build confidence and bond with his person. In return, he offers deep devotion and companionship that only a dog like him can provide.
Nacho is currently learning house manners and will need a patient and understanding adopter to continue helping him succeed. He may have previously been used to indoor pee pads, but now that he's neutered, he's working on transitioning and building more consistent habits. With structure, encouragement, and patience, he will continue to make great progress.
He would thrive in a calmer, stable home where he can decompress from the big changes he's experienced and truly settle into a routine. an adopter with who is experienced with small dogs, would help him feel safe and allow his personality to shine.
If you're someone who understands that great things come in small packages and you're ready to give a deserving dog the stability, patience, and love he needs, Nacho might just be your perfect match
