Madison is an incredibly sweet, lovely Medium-sized Super Mutt who is around 2 years old. Despite the beginning of her journey (pre-Wags), Madison is a very active, playful and loving pup. She has the bark of a hound breed, and is happy to carry on a conversation with you. She loves all kinds of toys and enjoys playing fetch. Her very favorite thing is to be in the arms of her people getting pets, scratches and kisses. Madison enjoys playing with our resident dog, and finds our cat fascinating (she doesn't seem to understand that a cat is not a funny-shaped dog!). She loves people of all ages. She knows basic obedience skills and gets in her crate at night easily with help from a treat. She has even picked up on ringing the bell strap at the back door to alert that she has to go out. Madison would do best in a home with a very patient dog (as she prefers the attention on her and will bark at you if you're paying attention to the other dog) or as the only dog. If you're looking for a playful, funny companion, Madison will be your forever friend!

  • Madison is doing well and she's walking around without any hinderance. We think she's about 45 pounds now. She's really great with other pups in my neighborhood and my gfs three year old son. We're getting her cat tested later this week.

  • Madison was found a couple months ago half dead, starving with a leg injury in a ditch on the side of a rural GA road.  A good Samaritan found her and got her to a vet, where she stayed for 2 months until she was released into rescue.  Her leg injury is mostly healed and she is ready to find her forever family.
  • Hi friends, my name is Madison. I’m a couple years old, some kind of big dog mix but think I’m a lap dog. I had a rough start in the south, still healing from my leg injury. Although I have to take it easy, it doesn’t stop me from getting around. I do like attention and being able to play but know it’s time to relax when I’m in my crate. I have loved meeting all new people and doggy friends. Overall, I’m so happy the nice people at Wags gave me a chance to get to PA in search of my forever home!
