Mario is a gentle, sweet-natured Yorkie Terrier mix with a gorgeous black coat and a soft, thoughtful soul. This handsome boy was surrendered to Wags through no fault of his own, and he’s now looking for a loving home where he can feel safe, secure, and truly cherished.
Almost 2 years old (he’ll turn two in May!), Mario is still very much a young pup who’s learning what it means to be a beloved family dog. He’s working hard on his house and crate training and continues to improve with patience, routine, and gentle encouragement.
Mario can be a little reserved when first meeting new people, but his confidence truly shines around other dogs. He loves their company and would do best in a home with another friendly dog to help him feel more comfortable and show him the ropes. With a canine buddy by his side, Mario’s sweet personality blossoms.
