Meet Maxi – A Tiny Gentleman with a Big Heart!
Maxi is an approximately 5-year-old neutered male Pomeranian mix, weighing in at just 5 lbs. This little guy was recently surrendered in Philadelphia, and while the world may seem big and a bit overwhelming to him, he's slowly learning that it can also be safe and full of love.
Maxi is incredibly sweet and gentle. He may give a soft bark when meeting new people or hearing unfamiliar sounds — he just wants to make sure everything's okay. Once he feels secure, he settles in beautifully and just wants to be near you, preferably curled up in your lap or on a cozy bed.
He's dog-, cat-, and child-friendly, but due to his tiny size, we're asking for dog-savvy children or those over 6 years old, and calm dog companions who won't accidentally trample him. Maxi isn't into playing or zoomies — his perfect day involves naps, cuddles, and peaceful companionship.
He's still working on his housetraining, so a patient adopter who can help guide him will be ideal. Maxi would thrive in a calm, quiet home where he can continue to grow in confidence and feel safe.
