If you’re looking to add an incredibly calm (and adorable) energy to your home, Nutmeg may be the girl for you. As a 1.5 year old retriever mix who weened her puppies not long ago and made the trek up to Pennsylvania from North Carolina, Nutmeg has been nothing shy of absolutely perfect. A bit timid at first, she quickly warmed up and won the hearts of all of the cats, dogs, and young children in the house. Nutmeg has not had a single accident in her foster home and (after some encouragement to get in) sleeps quietly all night in her crate. While Nutmeg has a lower energy and is more than happy to lounge around the house with you, she would probably do best with a fenced in yard, as she isn’t fully confident on leashed walks yet.
