Meet Peter Max — a distinguished gentleman of 9 years young and a perfectly portable 11 pounds of pure sweetness.
Peter is basically the definition of "good boy." He's 99.9% housetrained (it only took him a week to master the dog door — and honestly, who wants to pee on ice anyway?). He rarely barks, walks politely on a leash, and is so dog-friendly that he mostly just minds his own business. Cats? He'd likely treat them the same way — with calm, respectful indifference.
He loves people. Truly. His favorite hobby is being wherever you are. Kitchen? He's there. Living room? Right behind you. Bathroom? Don't be surprised if he considers hopping in the shower to supervise. He bonds deeply and will happily be your tiny, loyal shadow.
Peter is low energy and easygoing. He doesn't demand long daily walks but enjoys getting out when the opportunity arises. He's perfectly content just being near his person — not necessarily a velcro lap dog, but a devoted companion who wants to share your space and your life. He enjoys pets and kisses, yet can also relax independently when needed.
As a mature gentleman, he does have a few "seasoned" features: a heart murmur (no medication needed at this time & hasn't held him back) and the absolute cutest little underbite you've ever seen. His foster has been brushing his teeth to keep that charming smile fresh.
He's not big on toys or chewing — he's past the puppy chaos stage. Peter is simply looking for a calm, loving home where he can be your steady, loyal companion.
