Rosie is a 12-week old, 17 pound, German shorthair pointer/lab mix who was found abandoned with her litter mates in Georgia. She has a velvet-smooth short coat, and shedding is very minimal. This beautiful girl is smart as a whip! In just a week she easily learned sit, wait, down, follow, come, away, and give, and is working well on potty training when kept on a schedule. Rosie is a very gentle and lovable puppy, who doesn’t nip or play too rough, and is great with kids of all ages. She’ll come up to her foster mom and just sit quietly right in front of her, which is her cue that she needs some ear pets or a belly rub, some loving words, and a kiss on the head. Rosie loves being outside to explore the back yard, to play or just lay in the shady grass and chomp her chew toys. Her foster mom says that when Rosie is having fun in the yard, she actually starts prancing around instead of walking! After a while outside, she likes to come in and take a nap in her crate, where she’ll also sleep thru the night with no issues. This sweet girl is looking for her forever family, and has lots of love to share.
