Sasha is now just over a year old and has put on few much needed pounds (now closer to 45 lbs, and can still gain more). She's also emerged from winter house trained! She's still a little unsure in new situations but warms up very quickly. With the warmer weather, Sasha likes going on walks through the neighborhood and the nearby park. She walks well on leash and enjoys sniffing everything. Playing fetch with a ball is a favorite activity in the yard – she loves to chase balls and (most of the time) brings them back. Inside, she continues to enjoy snuggling next to her people, napping, and squeaking stuffed toys until they can squeak no more. She's gentle with children and respectful and playful with the 2 dogs she lives with. She is very food motivated and has learned sit, down, paw, look, and touch. Meet Sasha! Sasha is an 11 month old, 43 lb bundle of sweetness. Her favorite thing to do besides eating (she needs to gain a few lbs) is giving kisses to everyone in the family. For a youngish dog, Sasha is pretty low key – she enjoys running a few laps around the yard and then a nice comfy nap where it's warm. Recently up from GA, she's still adjusting to the cold weather but has been great with the house training. She will do her business outside and run right back inside! Inside, she enjoys playing with squeaky toys and chewing on bones. She's good in her crate and sleeps the whole night there. She is still learning not to jump up and not to counter surf, but is easily corrected. A bit shy when she first arrived, she's quickly coming out of her shell and is a sweet and loving dog.
