Myers is a mixed-breed cutie (what kind of mix? We're as curious as you are!) with a gentle, playful spirit and a strong desire to be part of a doggie duo. He absolutely lights up when he’s around other dogs, especially those who are confident, active, and up for a good game of chase around the yard. Another dog in the home isn’t just a preference—it’s the key to helping Myers come out of his shell and feel secure when exploring the great outdoors.
While a fenced-in yard would be a dream come true for him (hello, zoomies!), Myers is also learning to enjoy his daily walks and is building confidence each time he goes out. With a patient hand and a playful dog friend, he’s bound to blossom into a fantastic adventure buddy.
Inside the home, Myers is a total cuddle bug. Once he's settled, you'll find him curled up beside you on the couch, soaking in every minute of your company. He's doing wonderfully with both crate and house training and is quickly learning the rhythm of home life.

ORIGINAL-Myers is a gentle, 40-pound mix male pup with a heart of gold, and a story that’s nothing short of a miracle. Saved from a shelter just in the nick of time, Myers found himself in urgent need of medical care after being rushed to an emergency hospital to correct a urethral prolapse. Thanks to the quick action of his rescuers, Myers is now thriving in his current foster home, showing just how resilient and loving he truly is.
With his soft, beautiful coat and sweet, shy nature, Myers is a dog that will steal your heart without even trying. Truly have no idea what breed he is so we are going with a magnificent mutt. He’s a bit on the shy side, but once he gets to know you, he’ll show you just how affectionate and loyal he can be. While he may take a little time to warm up, it’s clear that Myers has no mean bone in his body—he’s a calm, kind, and peaceful pup who just wants to feel safe and loved.
Myers is fantastic with other dogs, and he would likely do best in a home where there’s already a canine companion to help him gain confidence.
