Shirley is an approximately 1 year old mixed breed girl. She is a petite girl weighing about 37 lbs. She’s a perfect size for just about any adopter. Shirley is people friendly, dog friendly and passed her cat test.
It’s been about a week since Shirley arrived and she has done very well in her new foster home. Really good about going in her crate, has been doing well with housetraining with a consistent schedule and is good about playing with her toys, not being destructive.
Shirley is a playful, fun-loving girl and loves to be by her people getting pets, belly rubs and lots of love. Shirley enjoys being outside - playing, rolling or just laying in the grass. She doesn’t seem to be used to being on a leash, but we are working on getting her out for walks with another confident leash-walking dog to show her the ropes.
Shirley has been treated for heartworms and is on activity restrictions until about mid-July.
