Surprisingly, Sienna has been waiting for her people for about a month. As she's become more comfortable in her foster home, she's shown herself to be curious at things she can reach on the table and countertops, and has shredded a few paper towel rolls when left on her own for a long period of time. As the crate is not a viable option, we would recommend Sienna go to a home that can keep up with her energy and keep her active or a family who will have Sienna enrolled in doggy daycare to ensure she has a safe outlet to use up her energy. Sienna is still a perfect lady with other dogs and the resident cat, and is ready to spring into your heart and home (no really, she springs up like a pogo stick for her meals!). Say yes to Sienna today, and you'll forever have a companion to keep you company and make you smile.
Sienna is a 1 year old magnificent Mutt - Lab? Husky? Not sure, but she has a beautifully soft, cream colored short coat, one blue eye, one brown eye, and a curly, feathered tail. She is pure love, fun, and silliness all wrapped up into one dog. She will kiss you - if you don't enjoy getting kissed often, Sienna might not be a fit for you. She enjoys cuddling and sleeps in her foster parent's bed at night. She does not like the crate, at all, but fortunately is very well behaved left alone in the house. Sienna is fully house broken, and has had no accidents in the house. She is still young and likes to play and run, so another dog for companionship is ideal. She's very well behaved with the resident cat, and gets along great with the other dogs and kid in her foster home. Sienna has a tendency to be mouthy, and her foster family is working on showing Sienna that there's other ways to get someone's attention. This training will have to continue in her forever home. For this reason, we don't recommend Sienna in a household with babies or very young kids. She will also need continued training around not jumping on others. We also recommend feeding her separately from the other pets, not because of food aggression, but because she likes to eat and will sample from each dog's dish. This makes sure everyone gets their appropriate serving. All in all, Sienna has been a wonderful addition to her foster household, and deserves a wonderful home that can ensure she remains happy, loved, and well fed.
