Yes, his name is a bit of a tongue-twister (okay, it’s completely ridiculous), but don’t let that fool you — this little guy is all heart, all love, and all-around amazing. A young male shepherd mix, Weihenstephaner (nicknames welcome!) is currently thriving in his foster home and making everyone fall in love with his sweet, gentle spirit.
Originally from West Virginia, this handsome pup had a tough start — he was exposed to parvo early in life — but he's doing absolutely wonderful now. He’s healthy, happy, and growing stronger every day, soaking up all the care and cuddles he missed out on before.
True to shepherd form, he’s a sensitive soul — smart, loyal, and incredibly loving. He’s working hard on house and crate training and doing fabulously. Like many shepherds, he just wants to be close to his people, understand the rules, and do his very best. He's a quick learner and truly wants to please.
Weihenstephaner is a social butterfly — he loves people, adores other dogs, and is always ready for a new friend or a cozy nap by your side. Whether it’s playtime in the yard or quiet time on the couch, he’s happiest when he’s part of the family action.
This pup is looking for a forever home that will love him for all he is — sensitive, sweet, sometimes silly, and yes, hilariously named. He doesn’t care what you call him, as long as you call him yours.
